PLOTTER, launched in 2017, is a stationery brand that developed an iconic and minimalist leather binder that redefines the traditional notebook concept. The Tokyo Flagship Shop is located on a site 4 meters wide and 13 meters deep, where strict height restrictions characterize the building's volume. The brand's philosophy of creating products that combine tradition and innovation was integrated into the architectural concept of 'embrace.' This was realized by configuring two distinct volumes—one symbolizing the past and the other symbolizing the future—so that they appear to embrace each other. The materials used to create PLOTTER products are also featured in the interior finishing, with a washi paper ceiling and a leather-wrapped counter. The skip-floor design creates a unique space where customers are led from the entrance to the top floor by the leather-wrapped counter, which also serves as a handrail.
